In the news!

Its official now, EcoSecurities the company I work for and the world leader in the carbon market, is finally in India!Yesterday was our launch with the media :)

I tell you, sometimes the most powerful people are the most humble.
Our COO is in town- Mr. Pedro Moura Costa.Having started the company in 1997, when the Kyoto was just still in talks, he manage to create with his business partner, Mark Stuart, a multinationalindustry leader with 150 employees working solely on climate change and the carbon market.
Now the company is the first one in the carbon market to go IPO! With the carbon market emerging in a big way,we see the emergence of a massive commodity market. Whats interesting is that this is the first market based solution to environmental concerns and climate change!

While walking near the Gateway of India with a cup of chai at midnight with a random bunch of young people, you would think that hes just a tourist. Hardly that this was a millionaire visionary businessman.

Forgive me, Im only human.
I try to be less selfish
I try hard to not paint myself in colours that dont suit me
I try to think with my head

Im not always right. None of us are. We merely see things in tinted shades to stop the glare from infiltrating our rose coloured universe.

All I can do is try- not to be selfish, and not to cause harm.
But I cant change the past.

All I have is the present.
Please let me try.

Airport Fiasco!

The way the airports these days are being transformed is incredible.
Everyone these days can fly.
Was in New Delhi airport yesterday as my flight was delayed many hours due by fog, the airport looked like a railway station. People sleeping all over the place, flights taking off every 2 minutes, people rushing to get in and out of buses and into lines hauling luggage all over the place.
The newspapers these days talk a lot about privitization of Mumbai and Delhi airport and the subsequent feuds,strikes, compromises, and discussions regarding the same. In the meanwhile, passengers wait, with baited breath with no idea when they will reach their destination.

Thank you thank you for all the midnight calls, flowers, blog postings and cakes.
It feels nice to be remembered.

But, Im really not a birthday person -prefer to hide by myself on my birthday from birthday songs, candles and everything.So pardon me for not being so excited.
22 now!!
Gosh.. Feel like I need to act grown up now! How do I do that? !! Any ideas?

On this day last year, 7 of us moved into the CC flat. Dhruv, havent a clue of how the time has passed either..
